U.S. 1 widening construction in Woodbridge

The Northern Virginia Department of Transportation has invested more than $40 million to improve transportation issues in Prince William County. 

Hundreds of residents joined senators and officials from prince William county transportation for the I-95 corridor town hall. The group discussion focused on the widening route one. The project would expand the I-95 corridor to six lanes, to increase traffic patterns and make room for bikers. Mayor of the Town of Dumfries says the project will do much more than reduce congestion. Read more at WDVM.
