Former Osbourn High School head football coach Chris Samuels is the new offensive coordinator at Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland.
The school announced Samuel's hiring Friday. Samuels, a former Washington Redskin standout offensive lineman, informed the Osbourn players Nov. 22 he was stepping down.
In his first-ever head coaching job, Samuels led the Eagles for two seasons, going 6-14 overall. Osbourn went 2-8 this season with wins over Potomac and Osbourn Park.
Samuels moved from Northern Virginia to Potomac. At Churchill, Samuels joins the staff of Willie Williams, who was named Churchill's new head coach in January.
