A baseball season that began with high expectations now has two boxes checked as far as significant accomplishments for the McLean Highlanders.
With 15 finishes in the top three in the various events, the McLean Highlanders won the girls Liberty District track and field championship with 127 points, five more than the runner-up Langley Saxons.
Below are standings ending through May 19 games for the Northern Virginia Senior Softball League for the 2022 spring season.
By scoring points in the majority of events and having multiple individual place finishers, the Bishop O’Connell Knights posted a strong showing at the recent Virginia State Catholic Track & Field Championships.
